CAPE TOWN, 30 March 2020. – All site personnel of specialist industrial HVAC company Two Oceans Air Conditioning (TOAC) will not be deployed during the 21-day lockdown period currently underway in South Africa, as part of a strategy to slow down the COVID-19 infection rate.
“Our office-based teams – the finance and administration teams as well as other non-site personnel – continue working remotely and we will manage all meetings through internet-based services. We are committed to the initiative for people to stay at home and practice social distancing,” says Stefan Sander, CEO.
“We do, however, have teams on standby for emergency projects that may require specialist HVAC installations. TOAC has delivered several successful projects at major hospitals, including Netcare Christiaan Barnard, Netcare Blaauwberg and Worcester Hospital, and we have the expertise to install the advanced systems required at, for instance, high-care or ICU units,” Sander says.
